About – Fine Art Copy

Fine Art Copy is founded on a deep passion for classical paintings and the techniques of the Old Masters. From an early age, I have been captivated by the beauty and intricacy of historical artworks, with a particular fascination for the works of Vincent van Gogh and Johannes Vermeer. The opening of the Rijksmuseum was the beginning of the fascination for art and paintings.

In 2023, my dedication to art was recognized when I won the prestigious Rijksmuseum Junior Fellowship. My research focused on the alteration of art through ages through reconstructions of Da Vinci and Van Gogh. That same year, I reached the finals of De Nieuwe Vermeer, a competition celebrating artistic reinterpretations of Vermeer’s missing works, broadcasted on national television with over 1.2 million TV ratings. These experiences have further fueled my commitment to mastering the craft of fine art reproduction and conservation.

Currently, I am studying Art History in Amsterdam, where I continue to refine my expertise in historical painting techniques. My ambition is to pursue a degree in Conservation and Restoration in Paintings, ensuring that the masterpieces of the past can be preserved for future generations.
